This policy is written like a round of practice: eight short "ends", each answering one question about your data. If anything is unclear, write to ava.sanders59@gmail.com and we will answer plainly.
WHAT THE APP STORESPractice data you enter yourself
Ueltari Archery only holds the information you type or tap into it while practising. Depending on how you use the app, that can include:
- Round set-ups – distance, target face size, number of ends and arrows per end, and any label you give a round.
- Arrow placements – the position of each arrow you mark on the target face, plus the score the app calculates from it.
- Round totals and history – scores, averages, grouping and accuracy trends computed from your own entries.
- Optional notes – free-text comments you choose to attach to a round (for example, "windy", "new string").
- App preferences – units, scoring system, colour or display options.
None of this is sent to us. It is written to the app's private storage area on your device and read back only by the app.
WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECTNo account, no telemetry, no tracking
| Category | Collected? | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, phone | NO | The app has no sign-up or login. |
| Location | NO | The app does not request location permission. "Distance" is a number you type, not GPS. |
| Contacts, photos, microphone, camera | NO | Not requested and not used. |
| Usage analytics / crash reporting SDKs | NO | No third-party analytics library is bundled in the app. |
| Advertising identifiers | NO | No ads, no ad SDKs, no IDFA/AAID access. |
| Device fingerprint | NO | We have no server to send one to. |
The app works fully offline. It does not need an internet connection to set up, score or review a round.
WHERE IT LIVESOn-device storage only
All practice records are stored in the app's sandboxed storage on your phone or tablet. They are protected by whatever lock, passcode or biometric protection you have set on the device itself.
If your device is configured to back up app data through the operating system's own backup service (for example, an iCloud or Google account backup), a copy of the app's data may be included in that backup. That backup is controlled by you and by your platform provider, under their privacy terms, and we never receive it.
SHARING & EXPORTOnly when you choose to
Some versions of the app let you export a round or your history (for instance, as a file or a share sheet action) so you can send it to a coach or keep it elsewhere. Sharing is always initiated by you. What happens to a file after you share it is governed by the app or service you send it to.
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose any personal data, because we do not hold any.
THIRD PARTIESApp stores and your platform
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play. When you download, update, rate or purchase the app, those platforms process data (such as your store account, device type and country) under their own privacy policies. We may see aggregated, anonymised statistics that the store provides to every developer, such as total download counts by country. We cannot identify individual users from these figures.
If the app ever crashes, your operating system may offer to send a crash report to the platform provider. That is a system feature you control; it is not something the app triggers.
YOUR CONTROLSEdit, delete and take your data with you
- View – every round and every arrow is visible in the app's history.
- Correct – you can re-mark arrows or edit round details at any time.
- Delete – delete individual rounds in the app, or remove everything by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it.
- Export – where the app offers an export option, you can take a copy of your records.
Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete or hand over on our side. If you believe we have somehow received data about you (for example, because you emailed us), contact us and we will delete it on request.
CHILDREN & EMAILTwo small clarifications
Children. The app is a general-audience practice tool. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the relevant age in your country). Since there is no account and no data transmission, there is nothing for a parent to request removal of from us.
Email. If you write to ava.sanders59@gmail.com, we will receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as is needed to resolve your request. The contact form on our support page runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit anything to us unless you send the email yourself.
CHANGES & LEGAL BASISKeeping this honest
If a future version of the app adds a feature that changes how data is handled (for example, optional cloud sync), we will update this policy, change the effective date at the top and, where required, ask for your consent inside the app before enabling it.
Where data-protection law such as the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our position is simple: we are not processing your personal data, because it stays on your device. For any email correspondence, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you. You have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority if you think we have handled your data unlawfully.
